Ombre Nail Art
This summer the Ombre trend is everywhere. It is a very simple but very effective technique, and you can easily Ombre all ten of your client’s nails or just one statement finger. Make sure the two colours you choose complement each other. If you are unsure, bright and bold shades always look brilliant with white.
2. Apply two layers of Bio Sculpture No.1 French White and cure for 30 seconds between each layer.
3. Using No.197 Bohemian Beauty, apply a small amount of gel at the tip. With a dry brush blend it down towards the centre of the nail leaving some white on show. Follow this step 3-4 times and each time remove the excess gel from your brush. Once you are happy with the look cure for 30 seconds.
4. With a very small amount of No.175 Havana Nights, apply to the very tip of the nail and lightly drag down a quarter of the nail. Using your dry brush blend this into your No.197 Bohemian Beauty, remember to remove the excess gel from your brush each time you blend. When you have created your desired gradient effect cure for 30 seconds.
5. Repeat the above process with No.182 Pursuit of Beauty and blend into No.175 Havana Nights. When you have created your desired gradient effect cure for 30 seconds.
6. Apply your Evo Gloss Top Coat and cure for 30 seconds
Top Tip – It is a myth that a make-up sponge helps you to achieve the Ombre look. The sponge will soak up lots of the gel and you will waste product.
